Transportation
E2 Owned and Operated
With E2 owned and operated equipment, we can ensure our ability to meet your needs with excellence. We look to create additional value and logistical solutions (i.e. flexible pick-up times, bulk and LTL shipments), coupled with the best transportation rate possible. With the pick-up/ delivery-time window collapsing in the transportation industry, the need for consistent, on-time service has increased to where a transportation company’s service performance is now based on hours instead of days. Owning and operating our own equipment allow us to tailor services and keep our emphasis on responding to customer’s needs. With this attitude, we are able to win and maintain customer loyalty.
Drivers
At E2 we pride ourselves on quality, professional drivers. All E2 Drivers maintain a Class A CDL, HAZMAT endorsement and a minimum of 10 years experience. All E2 drivers work in an efficient, effective and safe manner maintaining all required paperwork according to company policy, and state and federal regulations. E2 drivers are required to preserve a safe driving record.
All drivers are experienced in safely moving and positioning inventory, supplies and equipment, and are able to determine when loads are properly balanced, tied-down and flagged according to company policy, and state and federal regulations. All E2 drivers ensure maintenance of equipment through logging regular, routine inspections. Our drivers provide excellent customer service by communicating and interacting with customers in a positive, professional manner.
We realize in many cases our drivers are the "face" of E2. Our drivers are one of the main E2 contacts for our customers. E2 drivers play a large part in the customer service arena and overall success of our company. We have managed to create and retain one of the most experienced, professional teams of drivers in the industry.
Compliance
Environmental Compliance is the foundation of our company. Our environmental experts represent a bridge between our customers and state and federal environmental agencies. For most of our clients, we bridge the gap of unknown rules and regulations that are required by law.
Our customers learn to depend on our compliance knowledge which encompasses all aspects of environmental waste, packaging, handling, storing, transportation, disposal, recycling, reuse, and all required documentation. We work to diagnose environmental problems, assess environmental needs, and develop environmental strategies.
We help empower our customers with knowledge which in turn gives them a sense of security. It is our job to stay abreast of the ever changing environmental rules and regulatory requirements. Our success depends on it.
Training
All E2 Drivers maintain, at a minimum, a Class A CDL (Commercial Drivers Licenses) along with a HAZMAT (Hazardous Materials) endorsement. All E2 Drivers have a minimum of 10 years experience. A Class A CDL allows drivers to operate a Tractor/ Trailer with a GVWR (Gross Vehicle Weight Rating) of 26,001 lbs. or combined with a trailer that has a GVWR of 10,000 lbs. or more. As previously stated, all E2 Drivers are DOT (Department of Transportation) HAZMAT Technicians. They are specifically trained in all aspects of hauling Hazardous Materials. The Secretary of Transportation defines Hazardous Materials as those materials and substances that are capable of posing an unreasonable risk to health, safety, and property when transported in commerce. Our drivers are experts in Hazardous Material Packaging, Marking, Labeling, and Placarding. Their training also includes HAZMAT: Emergency Information, Classification, Carrier Requirements and Shipping Documentation.
