Training

All E² Drivers maintain, at a minimum, a Class A CDL (Commercial Drivers Licenses) along with a HAZMAT (Hazardous Materials) endorsement.  All E² Drivers have a minimum of 10 years experience.  Both a Class A CDL and a HAZMAT endorsement are acquired through the Dept. of Transportation and Motor Vehicles.  A Class A CDL allows drivers to operate a Tractor/ Trailer with a GVWR (Gross Vehicle Weight Rating) of 26,001 lbs. or combined with a trailer that has a GVWR of 10,000 lbs. or more.  As previously stated, all E² Drivers are DOT (Department of Transportation) HAZMAT Technicians.  They are specifically trained in all aspects of hauling Hazardous Materials.  The Secretary of Transportation defines Hazardous Materials as those materials and substances that are capable of posing an unreasonable risk to health, safety, and property when transported in commerce.  Our drivers are experts in Hazardous Material Packaging, Marking, Labeling, and Placarding.  Their training also includes HAZMAT:  Emergency Information, Classification, Carrier Requirements and Shipping Documentation.  With our professional team of drivers, E² customers can rest assured that safety and security is our first priority.
